You are cordially invited to our 4th annual holiday party and white> elephant gift exchange! Please open and enjoy the attached invitation,> and let us know if you plan to attend.
Well-
i would cordially gladiate myself over to your party if i were there. i'd gladly cordialize myself, how cherry!
i would happily glad to your party, dammit.
(anyway, after we chat i am going to go look at the website for the clinton school of public service- and see how it goes. www.clintonschool.uasys.edu
oh he was such a rascal~!!)
LET'S TALK BUSINESS MINI (AND JO): how do you feel about fotographs that sell on the web, $1 each (13 minimum for thirteen moons per year). for each one dollar goes 5 cents to the enviro-mint. or is that too much? could be non-profit. the other part of the dollar goes to pay me. or and you.
-we get leagued in with patagucci and apple. we ally with people like american whitewater and code pink.
-oooo!!! on the back of the photograph, you "turn" your postcard over, interactive virtual wow!, you get goody enviro and not-so goodie news, you are informed that it is world aids day for example. and get links n stuff; and the sponsor labels are there.
-we advertise that with each purchase you are voting for a cause, like when you put the paper token in the boxes at new leaf and staff oflife for bringing you own grocerybag. that list gets published and voted for, and then the winner gets the percentage we choose. 1%? like patagucci does "1% for the planet" program.
-also each purchase can be "entering" a contest that we choose winners and do something cool like send a coupon for keen shoes or somethin.
you see we are reaching to build community somehow, with linkage to best info, a public voice for a dollar type thing... democracy wow! like democracy now.
-issues that we support change, sposorships change, our company oneFoto gets out there as a public service. clinton would be proud of us... !!!
we can host/judge a contest to win a super iPod for the coolest sounding plan for using it--
(dude i get to surrf everyday and they put the video in here)
(i am walking 10,000 miles and i sing the whole way. it will be forever stored here in this iPod)
(to hold video and documents for our 11-hour kiteboard/paraglide/base-jumping/ bridge crashing catastrophy prevention responder just-after-the-fact program.)
(to document our reality tv show that helps hippies feel loved again. we will showcase an in-house session in kind, camera-casual, called "homey-o-STAYsis".)
-did you check out the $25,000 keen footwear contest? go to
www.keenfootwear.com
wait, this one:
http://keenfootwear.com//default.aspx
get the planetCash-- befo' the planet crash!
+++++++++++++ i could see you spending free time at work working with me on it, call it oneFoto. or Mostcard. or oneShot.
if we sold 1000 calendar dailies at $360 ea., no tax. (exmpt) then we have raised 360k. we pay ourselves and 5% for the planet is 18k, 1% is only 3600. hmmm
what you think of the picture thing. don't give out the secret!!! call ME first!
sounds like i need to write a business plan-- how much does THAT pay?
maybe the % could sponsor the mlml, sponsor ecology action... santa cruz- centric sometimes. and colorado!!!!!! and asheville, the places we love and live or have lived. buyers start to come in and suggest a cause to support.
`ok so we get good enough that the photo changes every day. we work a 4-hour work week each getting that together. ha!? a person can order a year of daily postcards that pop up on their screen each day automatically because they are programmed into the "daily mailing list". or they are on the "moonthly list", with 13 cards at the first of each month!!!
or just a one time order, we reply to their email with a password link/ card.
~the average person can "do their part" for 13$. and at the least, with each order they are either-- giving to one person 13 different times throughout the year, or giving to 13 different people (including themselves) saving gas, saving from having a big truck bring FTD florist one-time delivery of flowers from the tropics, as nice as that is!!!!
-you picture a calendar your friend buys as a present-- $30 means 30 photos. we reply to the email they type in and confirm on the order page. they pay by credit card that pays some exempt credit uniony thing that pays us and is responsible for paying the planet-- a non-profit type or somehow tax lower/ thing.
-some customers get greeting cards for their whole email list-- $250 they would have spent on paper cards at longs. they are all the same photo we send out for the lists you know. at first the photo changes every week, then we get ahead enough that the photo changes every day and sell daily photos for big givers, and we'll get like half the year done in a couple weeks, boom done.
-non-calendar orders choose frm the portfolio, which is the cache of photos that are our history, our catalog/library, arranged by date. later the photos can be sold to life magazine because they reached so many people and the whole world remembers. no really, it's awareness to a potentially huge community about this and that... over time.
-maybe at an office, each screen gets one calendar, so many dollars for a tax exemption gift to employees, that becomes the wallpaper for the day if they like it. point is they could be photos that invoke conversation.
-we advertise thru the gnarly way, invading their email with pop-ups that look cooler than others. if they click it they get an order form and a proof page/cool website/postcard sample they click to buy one ($1) or more for the planet and their friends!!! can't most of this work be automatic by clicking to pay and sends us their email and it automatically sends link of the day with password of the day to the person.? with each emailed order the password changes automatically, a logarhythm, the thing that keeps others from stealing into the same postcard.
-meanwhile we are out surfing, riding bike too while it happens, we make our money slowly... how many photos do we need? they are amateur, or not! we have to talk, i am at home staying up late. haunted by this idea and wanting to make a scheme to get rich by 2020. yeah!!-- meaning:
enough awareness and info/news-bytes get transferred to the generally caring public that i feel like i have done my part to help make news prettier and more collective.things shift at level of friends/social/love and
u know...
